HortusFox v5.5 released

The latest version 5.5 covers some cool additions, improvements and bugfixes that will further empower your plant parenting - a cool present for december 2025. 💚

Despite being somewhat a smaller update, I'll implemented some cool things that will make managing your plants even more fun. The time units bug of the tasks feature was fixed, which occured when one was editing a task. E-Mail encryption types have been properly worded, as they could cause confusion on what's exactly meant. The prior SSL term is now properly named to STARTTLS, and the SSL term is now named to SMTPS. The reason it was differently named before, was because of directly using the identifier expressions of the constants used in the PHPMailer class of its respective package. Furthermore a bug was fixed when uploading a photo of an inventory item of an inventory entry that hasn't had a photo previously attached. This bug didn't occur on every system, but still was annoying was it shown the 'headers already sent' text on a white background. So, now this is fixed. Also the history section does now also have the list view type like other plant listing views. Furthermore I've added some AquaShell scripts, which are solely for local development, and are optional. But if you want to modify HortusFox and want to dig a bit into AquaShell, you can do so now.
