I'm really thankful how the project has evolved since it came into existance in September, 2023. I'm also thankful for how well it is received by the community. Furthermore, I'm thankful for all the support, feedback, bug reports, feature suggestions and casual chats. 🐱
It's a witty coincidence that this new milestone happens during the beginning of spring. It's that time of the year when nature starts to bloom again. Plant shops and gardening markets are restocked with all the beautiful leafy friends again. Of course, me and my partner are going to celebrate this event with an extensive plant shopping and some coffee! 🌱☕
I'm really looking forward for this year's spring and summer. We've figured we want to grow more veggies in our garden. So far we've only had a blueberry and a fig tree among all our leafy friends. Now we also want to grow a few vegetables.
For what HortusFox concerns, I will stretch development a bit. This is because HortusFox has grown tremendously over the time and it's become extremely feature rich. I'm very proud of that. So, I've decided to slow updates down a bit, because simply if I resolve all open issues in one week, I fear there isn't that much to do - and people prefer software that is constantly updated. Hence, I will constantly update HortusFox instead of just working on everything in a rush. Frequent and constant updates ensure longevity and security for all users.
